Where To Buy Candle Making Supplies
Candles are the easiest way to turn a house into a home. They also make great gifts. Instead of buying your next set of candles, why not do? It's easier than you think.

To start, melt the wax to 200 degrees Fahrenheit in a double boiler. Stir wax while it is warming. Add color and / Or fragrance, if desired. Add two tablespoons of translucent glass for a pound of melted wax, if you want the candle to be slightly translucent. Remember, since sail, these steps can be changed as desired.
Tie the wick to a metal rod or a pencil lying on top of mold. The wick should be long enough to reach the bottom of the candle. Pass the wick through the mold, pulling through the hole in the bottom of the pan (this will be the top of the sail and the wick long). Make sure the wick is taut the whole time. A mold sealer to help with this.
Once the wax crystals are melted, pour the wax in the desired mold (round, square, heart). Note: Before you pour the wax into the mold, a small amount of vegetable oil on the walls of the mold removal assistance. Then touch the sides of pan to remove air bubbles from the wax. Under the pan in cool (not cold) water.
Leave the pan in the water for about six minutes. Remove the insert and make sure the wick does not fall into the wax. Remove pan from water and leave at room temperature for at least two hours (to put it in the refrigerator to accelerate the process.) Once the wax is completely cooled, slide the wax mold. Recharging wax around the wick if necessary and allow to cool.
These steps can be modified by using different colors, fragrances, and molds. Follow the same steps as if you wanted to fill a glass container (bottles, martini glass) or a piece ceramic (coffee mug, cup) to make a candle.
