Making soy candles Pilar

Again, the key to quality soy wax candles is quality ingredients ... primarily a candle Soy wax good. In this project I used KY candle wax votive supply mix. soy pillar candles require a harder wax properly record and not use a container of soy wax.

soy pillars can be quite complicated, simply because it will use a mold. The same rule applies to other votive candles and shaped like candles. Since this is the case, you should be able to follow this guide to make soy votives, soy candles and soy cakes.

I have to admit, the great thing about using soy wax and other natural wax candle is melting capacity microwave. This makes cleaning a breeze!

To begin the project, the first thing we need is a pillar of molds. You can find them at many online stores supply of candles, but may want to check eBay. A lot of metal candle molds can be found on eBay for a reasonable price. I've even gone so far as to make my own molds supplies at a local hardware store. Someday, I will share my secrets!

Pillar candle molds for manufacturing soy pillars can be a variety of different shapes and sizes. It has been my experience to start with a smaller mold pillar, then work your way up to bigger and more extravagant molds.

After the wax melted, add color and fragrance. Once the wax melts well, it's time to pour. There are a silicone spray that is available for candle molds metal. This spray is known as a releasant. This makes it easier to get the pillar candle mold. I found this to be quite ineffective in small sails, but once it reaches a soy pillar larger, this comes in handy!

Before pouring your candle, you have to fuse that mold. I used a wooden skewer to tie the match at top mold (bottom of the candle). Then move the wick through the hole in the bottom of the mold (top of the wing). The size of your wick will depend on the diameter of soy pillar. If your intention is to sell these products, try a couple different sizes of the wick. Soy pillar should be completely burned and consumed.

You find other methods of sealing the bottom of pan with wax leakage after pouring soy pillar. These can be as simple as a type of wax adhesive, magnet or a rubber stopper. I prefer the rubber stopper, but feel free to experiment. Make sure you have a closed bottom, or you have a big mess!

Now pour the soy wax in the mold pillar. Once your soy wax is poured, it begins to set. This time period depends on the temperature and the temperature wax.

Let the mainstay of sitting in the mold overnight. This gives you time to soy pillar of the installation. Once the pillar candle is set, it is time to release them from the mold. The mainstay of soy should leave the mold with a slight pull of the wick. If the candle is stuck into the mold, you may have to put in the freezer for a few minutes. Be careful ... Soy wax is subjected to extremely cold temperatures, has a tendency to crack. Avoid putting soy pillar in the freezer for more than a couple of minutes. If you have the time, it may be better to put the candle in the refrigerator for a little more.

Once the pillar is released from soybean pillar mold, it is always good to let the candle "cure" for a day or two, but if you're ready to record a part, feel free. When burning pillars soy, make sure to burn on a plate or something to test for taking a second round in case of wax.
