Introduction to the History Candles

And it is used as a light source until recently in terms of human history on this planet. American Colonies a little over 200 years ago used candles. Ben Franklin, though discovered electricity in 1752 candles to light your way and to read and write. The colonies used wax wax obtained from the surface of bayberries to make their candles and went with less smoky sweet smell and then tallow candles had been using. There is strong evidence for this because most religions use candles, and candles are often mentioned in historical religious texts. In China and Japan, candles were shaped early in paper tubes, with streaks of crushed rice paper, and wax came from seeds and insect called "Cocus." In India, candle wax was from the fruit of the cinnamon tree.

Already in the seventh century the Byzantine Empire, the first professional candle makers, suppliers of calls, may have originated. In the Book of the Eparchy, which provides rules for economic trade in the Empire, there are rules prohibiting the use of beef or sheep tallow in the manufacture candles. According to Marcus Rautman in Daily Life in the Byzantine Empire, "manufacturers of candles were forced to work outside the stores and not sell their products on the street or the market. Most of the time Mr. Edison discovered the light bulb in 1872, ending the need for the candles do not know, that is when they finally came up with the ideal wax, paraffin. The car with its need for oil products were close to heavy use. Well, when oil is purified paraffin is a byproduct that is produced. Unlike paraffin tallow has no unpleasant odor, in fact, is odorless and clean burning as well. But again after using candles for thousands of years of paraffin ideal for candle wax, was discovered just in the end, when the candles as a light source was becoming obsolete.

But before the light was provided by lamps, lanterns and candles. Things have changed dramatically since the light bulb was invented in comparison to before it was invented. I think there is a connection between the discovery and use of electric light and the extremely rapid rate of change since then? Yes there is, but I'll let your imagination run with that question, because this article is about candle making history.

But today is more than an ornament, or issuance of certain fragrances such as aromatic candles, or to set a mood. Candles are used for certain ceremonies for symbolic purposes. Christian and used to symbolize the light of Christ. Scented candles are still used for aromatherapy, which these days is considered a big deal.
